A smoke detector is an instrument that identifies the presence of smoke in a building and alerts the people, and enabling them to escape themselves from any mishap. Many times it is not suitable to run each wire directly to the control panel so the installer merges the points in a central location either in the upper floor or in the basement. From the joining point, a multi cable is spliced to the door and window and run back to the Control Panel. If these splices are not correctly connected, they will get activated over time and create false alarms. When a fire alarm turns off as a result of anything other than actual fire, this is considered to be an unnecessary fire signal. Smoke detector false alarm is nowadays very common around the world.
